London Broncos have been given another 10 days to secure their Super League future with a deal to bring them out of administration thought to be close.
The club had been given a deadline of today, but announced that they are "hopeful" of saving themselves after filing for extra time.
"Negotiations to cement a permanent home for London Broncos and fulfil next season's fixtures are at a positive stage," read a statement issued on behalf of the club.
"The club will be instructing its lawyers to file a further Notice of Intention to Appoint Administrators at Court, which shall be effective for 10 business days.
"During this time the club are hopeful that a deal can be concluded in order to ensure the club's future."
Broncos have been playing their games at Twickenham Stoop.
