Ben Cockayne signs for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Ben Cockayne signs a one-year deal with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Super League side Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have announced the signing of Ben Cockayne on a one-year deal.

The former Hull KR and Featherstone Rovers utility back is the latest player to join Richard Agar's new-look squad.

"I'm really looking forward to it," Cockayne told the club's official website.

"Rich has really made a bit of a statement with the players he has signed and the ones the club had already signed.

"I think the future is looking good for Wakefield and it's an opportunity for me to come and get back in Super League."

Cockayne, 28, spent almost five years with Agar at Hull.
