Salford Red Devils have confirmed that forward Gareth Hock has had a transfer request accepted by the club.
The 31-year-old former England international has three years remaining on his contract with Salford following his move from Widnes Vikings last summer.
Hock is currently serving a seven-match ban after being found guilty of deliberately making contact with a referee during a match in July.
Salford chairman Marwan Koukash tweeted: "Gareth Hock has asked to leave the club and we have agreed to his request provided it is at the right terms."
The Red Devils continue their Super League campaign on Sunday when they host London Broncos.
