St Helens comeback downs Hull FC

St Helens come from behind to beat Hull FC 34-22 in the Super League.

St Helens overturned a half-time deficit to claim a comfortable 34-22 win over Hull FC in the Super League this evening.

The visitors were dominant in the opening 25 minutes, with tries from Mickey Paea and Richard Whiting ensuring that Hull had the lead at half time.

The home side took control at the start of the second half, scoring a brace of tries in the opening 10 minutes to surge ahead.

James Roby finished with a brace for St Helens, while Tommy Makinson added their fifth of the game with just over 10 minutes to go.

Danny Houghton added a late consolation try for the visitors, but it was not enough for them to avoid the defeat.
