Wakefield Trinity Wildcats scored a try inside the final two minutes of their match against Leeds Rhinos to clinch a 16-14 win in the Super League this evening.
The hosts had the majority of the chances early in the first half, and managed to take the lead when Danny Washbrook went over in the corner.
Kallum Watkins and Ben Jones-Bishop both found the line for Leeds shortly before half time, but missed conversions left the visitors just two points ahead at the break.
Richard Mathers restored Wakefield's advantage in the second half before Ryan Hall put the Rhinos back ahead in a closely-fought contest.
It seemed that the visitors had done enough until Richard Owen dived over out wide with just over a minute to play to seal it for the Wildcats.
The defeat prevents Leeds from returning to the top of the table, while Wakefield remain 11th.
