Wakefield Wildcats ease to a 24-6 win over London Broncos at Belle Vue.

Wakefield Wildcats produced a dominant first-half display on the way to seeing off London Broncos 24-6.

Vince Mellars, Dean Collis and Ali Lauitiiti all scored first-half tries, all of which Paul Sykes converted, to put Wakefield into an 18-0 lead at half-time.

Danny Kirmond went over soon after the restart to make it 22-0 to almost make the remainder of the match a formality for the Wildcats.

However, Scott Wheeldon ensured there would be no Wakefield complacency with a try for London Broncos, which Shane Rodney converted.

Despite failing to build on their earlier scoring dominance, Wakefield added a further two points through Sykes to seal the win, which sees them move a further two points clear of the Super League drop-zone.
