Sam Tomkins will be "sad to leave" Wigan Warriors

Wigan Warriors' Sam Tomkins says that he will be sad to play his last game for the club in tomorrow's Super League Grand Final.

Sam Tomkins has said that he will be "sad to leave" the Wigan Warriors at the end of this Super League season.

The 2012 Man of Steel agreed to join New Zealand Warriors from next season for a world-record fee.

Ahead of tomorrow's Grand Final, the 24-year-old told BBC Sport: "It's a club I've loved having six years with and it's going to be sad to leave. If there's a way to go out, it's at Old Trafford in a Grand Final.

"Us and Warrington always have massive games, they always go right down to the wire and I'm sure Saturday will be no different.

"For the neutrals, many have said to me that they wanted a Wigan-Warrington final and they've got it. I'm sure it's going to be one not to miss."

Wigan face the Warrington Wolves at Old Trafford tomorrow evening.
