An evenly-matched first 40 minutes saw the hosts take a narrow two-point lead at half time.
A brace from Joel Monaghan was matched by tries from Josh Charnely and Ben Flower, before Pat Richards kicked a penalty right at the end of the first half to give Warriors a lead.

It was Warrington who struck first after the break, Richard Myler scoring the visitors' third try of the game, but Wigan continued to match their opponents, and made the score 16-16 shortly after through Liam Farrell.
Matty Smith, who played much of the game with a cut to the head, gave the hosts a slender advantage inside the final 10 minutes by kicking a drop goal, but Lee Briers did the same with two minutes left to play to level the scores.
