Bath have moved up to third in the Aviva Premiership table with a 23-19 victory over second-placed Exeter at the Recreation Ground.
Converted tries by Sam Vesty from Nathan Catt and Dan Hipkiss did the damage for the hosts, while Vesty also scored three penalties.
In reply, Argentinian fly-half Ignacio Mieres kicked Exeter's points as the Chiefs surrendered their place at the top of the division.
Next Saturday Bath travel to Gloucester, while Exeter host London Wasps on Sunday, September 25.
