Sam Warburton out for six weeks?

Cardiff Blues and Wales international Sam Warburton is expected to be out of action for around six weeks with an ankle complaint.

Widespread reports this afternoon have claimed that Cardiff Blues will be without Sam Warburton for the next six weeks.

The Wales international suffered an ankle injury during Saturday's clash with Ospreys.

A subsequent scan has revealed the extent of the damage, which is believed to keep him out of action until early next year.

If that proves to be the case, Warburton will miss the European Challenge Cup matches against Montpellier, as well as Pro12 Welsh derbies against Newport Gwent Dragons and the Scarlets.
