Vern Cotter has revealed that he will stand down as the head coach of Clermont Auvergne at the end of next season.
The 51-year-old, who joined the club in 2006, narrowly missed out on a double with the French outfit this season, but has vowed that the team will "bounce back".
"We'll bounce back and we're going to go after this European title next season, which will be my last," he told the club's official website.
"I've always said I wanted to leave the club in a better shape than I found it and that will be the case. We'll pass the baton next season with great ambitions."
Cotter had previously been linked with the Scotland managerial position.
