Gloucester and England wing Jonny May has announced his retirement from international rugby following the conclusion of the 2023 World Cup.
The 33-year-old hangs up his Test boots following an illustrious 10-year stint with England, during which he amassed 180 points, including 36 tries in 78 matches.
Only Rory Underwood (49) has scored more tries for England, and May crossed the line for the final time in international colours during August's 30-22 defeat to Fiji in a World Cup warm-up match.
May - whose Test debut came against Argentina in 2013 - scored three tries during England's run to the 2019 World Cup final and also played five games at the 2023 edition after being drafted in for the injured Anthony Watson.
The Gloucester man completed 78 minutes of England's 16-15 semi-final defeat to South Africa, which proved to be his final appearance for Steve Borthwick's side, as he did not make the 23-man squad for their bronze final win over Argentina.

May has become the third England player to retire from Test duty since the conclusion of the World Cup, with Courtney Lawes and Ben Youngs also calling time on their international careers.
With May representing his nation at the World Cup, Gloucester began the 2023-24 Gallagher Premiership season with victories over Harlequins and Newcastle Falcons before suffering a 3-24 loss to Saracens last Friday.
The Cherry and Whites occupy fifth place in the table and return to action against Sale Sharks on Friday evening.
