Joe Launchbury cited for alleged kick

England lock Joe Launchbury is cited for an alleged kick on Fiji centre Asaeli Tikoirotuma during his side's 58-15 victory at Twickenham.

England lock Joe Launchbury has been cited for an alleged kick on Fiji centre Asaeli Tikoirotuma during his side's 58-15 victory at Twickenham on Saturday.

The incident in question took place after just two minutes of the match, with Launchbury seemingly catching the Fijian while trying to kick the ball.

If found guilty, Launchbury will face a minimum four-week ban and could be suspended for 12 weeks or longer should the disciplinary committee rule that it is a serious incident.

The 25-year-old's hearing will take place on Monday and could rule him out of England's remaining two Autumn Internationals against Argentina and Australia.

Launchbury has started alongside Courtney Lawes for the comfortable wins over South Africa and Fiji so far, scoring two tries in the latter.

However, England could have George Kruis back available from an ankle injury in time for Saturday's match against Argentina.
