A late Tom Heathcote penalty has earned Bath a vital 12-9 victory over Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.
The hosts took a 6-0 half-time lead thanks to two penalties from Ignacio Mieres.
A pair of penalties from Heathcote drew the hosts level before the hour, but Mieres's third kick of the match edged Exeter back in front.
Heathcote kept up his individual duel with Mieres by launching a penalty through the posts to make the scores 9-9.
The Bath number 10 had the final say six minutes from time when his fifth kick of the match sealed the win for his side.
