Fiji's Nemani Nadolo cited for dangerous tackle, could miss Wales game

Fiji back Nemani Nadolo could miss his country's game against Wales after being cited for a dangerous tackle.

Fijian back Nemani Nadolo has been cited for a spear tackle during the 28-13 loss to Australia on Wednesday.

Nadolo could now miss next week's game against Wales after being accused of "lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player's feet are still off the ground such that the player's head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground first is dangerous play".

The Crusaders winger has scored 16 of Fiji's 24 points in the tournament so far.

It is the second game in a row that the Fijians have had a citing for this exact offence, with flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu missing the Australia game after a one week suspension for a spear tackle in the defeat against England.
