Gloucester recorded a crushing win over London Irish in the Challenge Cup this afternoon.
The home side took a commanding 23-3 lead at half time thanks to a brace of tries from Shane Monahan and a clinical performance from Freddie Burns with the boot.
Rob Cook helped increase the advantage shortly after the break, before Will James received a yellow card, giving Irish a chance to get back into the game.
The Exiles had some good chances, but Gloucester's defence was strong enough to prevent the visitors getting a try, before Monahan added two more.
The loss means that Irish miss the chance to close the gap on Gloucester, who lead Pool 1 with four wins out of four.
