Bath have wrapped up a comfortable 39-26 win over Wasps in the Aviva Premiership to close the gap at the top of the table this afternoon.
The sides were closely matched in the first 25 minutes, but a try from Semesa Rokoduguni and two George Ford penalties shortly before the break ensured that Bath had a comfortable lead.
The home side made a quick start to the second half as Sam Burgess scored his first try since switching codes to join Bath, but Nathan Hughes quickly broke to dive over at the other end.
Matt Banahan and Ollie Devoto ended any hopes of a Wasps comeback by both crossing the line in the space of five minutes.
Ben Jacobs and Alex Lozowski did reduce the deficit late on for the visitors, but their tries were nothing more than consolations for Wasps.
The result keep Bath in second place in the table, while Wasps remain fourth.
