Luke Morahan is called up into the Qantas Wallabies squad for the Lions tour as a replacement for the injured Joe Tomane.

Queensland Reds winger Luke Morahan has been called into the Qantas Wallabies squad ahead of the British and Irish Lions tour.

Morahan has been added to the set-up in order to replace Joe Tomane, who has been ruled out of the opening Test on June 22 with a toe injury.

The 23-year-old, who scored a try for the Reds during their 22-12 defeat to the British and Irish Lions on Saturday, has been with the Australian Sevens team on the Gold Coast.

Tomane is expected to return to fitness to take part in the remainder of the tour.
