Mike Phillips could be set to revive his club career in France if he halts his legal action against the team that sacked him earlier in the season, according to reports.
Wales Online claims that the Lions scrum-half is wanted by Racing Metro, but the move will only be sanctioned by former team Bayonne should he drop his threat to sue over the termination of his contract.
Phillips was let go by Bayonne when he arrived drunk to a team meeting.
Should he complete the move, he could link up with Wales teammates Dan Lydiate and Jamie Roberts as well as Lions stand-off Jonathan Sexton, who moved to Racing from Leinster in the summer.
