Brive have beaten Sale Sharks 19-9 in Pool Five of the Amlin Challenge Cup at Edgeley Park.

The hosts took the lead after three minutes thanks to a Nick Macleod penalty.

Brive drew level on 16 minutes courtesy of Julien Caminati's penalty.

Macleod kicked over another penalty four minutes later to edge Sale in front before another kick three minutes from the break gave the English side a 9-3 lead.
