Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall hails his returning England players following Sunday's Aviva Premiership win against Harlequins.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has praised his returning England internationals following Sunday's Aviva Premiership victory over Harlequins.

Owen Farrel, Alex Goode, Chris Ashton, Brad Barritt and Mako Vunipola all made an impact at the Allianz Park, as Sarries extended their lead at the top of the table with a 27-12 triumph.

"I've got to take my hat off to our English guys who had a difficult weekend last weekend," McCall told Sky Sports News. "All of them, to a man, wanted to play today.

"It says a lot about the environment and the general group that they are so keen to come back and enjoy it so much - but some of our non-internationals were pretty good today as well."

The win has seen Saracens move five points clear of Leicester Tigers at the top of the Aviva Premiership table.
