David Strettle credits Saracens teammates for tries

Saracens winger David Strettle thanks his teammates for helping him top the scoring charts at the start of the Aviva Premiership season.

David Strettle has thanked his Saracens teammates for helping him top the scoring charts at the start of the Aviva Premiership season.

The 30-year-old has four tries to his name after three matches for the league leaders.

"So far the start of the new season has gone well for me but it is always easier to score when the team is playing as you obviously get more chances," Premiership Rugby's official website quotes Strettle as saying.

"When the team is playing well as we are this season, opportunities to score present themselves to you but it would be the case if the pack weren't doing their job.

"And they certainly have been doing that and the guys that have come in have fitted in really well and fronted up and doing a terrific job."

Saracens are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Harlequins.
