Chris Ashton is at the centre of talks between Saracens and Toulon over a potential move to the French giants, according to a report.
The winger, currently serving a 13-week ban for biting an opponent, is expected to move either this year or next should an agreement be struck.
Sky Sports News reports that discussions between the two clubs are still ongoing, but Ashton is said to favour a switch to the Top 14 side where he is likely to receive a bumper pay packet.
Any move will end the former rugby league star's hopes of representing England again due to the foreign-based player rule in place, though he has not played for the Red Rose since 2011 and missed out on a rare call-up earlier this year due to a separate 10-week suspension.
Ashton is due to return to action in December after being punished for biting Northampton Saints' Alex Waller.
