Scotland sevens back Lee Jones has warned his side not to underestimate Canada when they face each other at the Commonwealth Games later today.
Canada got off to a poor start with a resounding 39-0 defeat to New Zealand in the opening match of the day, although they did bounce back to trounce Barbados 68-5 in their second outing.
Scotland, meanwhile, pushed the All Blacks all the way before eventually falling to a 17-14 defeat, and Jones is expecting another tough match against the Canadians.
"I'll be honest with you, I saw that game this morning and it looked as if Canada hadn't turned up. I think they will be a lot better in the next game," he told Sports Mole.
"They got a result against Barbados, so they'll be tough in the next match definitely."
Canada beat Scotland in the semi-finals of the Glasgow sevens back in May.
