Irish outfit Ulster will be without Dan Tuohy until the New Year after the lock injured his calf in the defeat to Northampton Saints at the weekend.
The 27-year-old has been a key member of the Ulster side that are on the brink of securing qualification for the Heineken Cup quarter-finals.
However, the damage to his calf is expected to rule him out of action for at least a month, according to Sky Sports News.
Tuohy has five international caps for Ireland.
