Worcester announce that assistant head coach Nigel Redman is to leave his post at the Warriors.

Worcester Warriors have announced that assistant head coach Nigel Redman will leave the team.

The former England lock began a second spell at the Aviva Premiership club last May, working with then head coach Richard Hill.

Hill left his post last month and now, under new director of rugby Dean Ryan, Redman will follow suit.

The club's rugby committee chairman, Bill Bolsover, said: "Nigel is an experienced and dedicated coach who has worked tirelessly throughout his time at Sixways to develop the forwards.

"However, under the guidance of our new director of rugby we are now looking to appoint a new-look coaching team.

"I would like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Nigel for all his efforts, and wish him well for the future."

Ryan made his first appointment yesterday when Shane Howarth was confirmed as the Warriors' new backs coach.
