French shooter Anthony Terras "very happy" with European Games bronze

Anthony Terras believes that living on the French coast played a big part in his handling of the windy conditions in this morning's mixed team skeet bronze-medal match.

Anthony Terras has admitted that the windy conditions made life tough in this morning's European Games mixed team skeet event.

The 30-year-old managed to handle things well enough to claim bronze alongside teammate Lucie Anastassiou at the Baku Shooting Range, edging out Slovakia 28-25 to claim a podium finish.

Speaking to reporters after his success, he said: "I'm very happy. The shooting range is beautiful. It wasn't easy for me with too much wind today and yesterday, but I shot very well and am very happy.

"For everybody it wasn't easy today because the wind is very fast. But I live in Marseille and it is windy all the time, so it is the same."

France now have 15 medals overall at Baku 2015.
