Ali Carter has announced that he will make his return to snooker in October after having chemotherapy for lung cancer.
The two-time World Snooker Championship runner-up, who was struck with the illness in May, will compete in the Players Tour Championship in Bulgaria.
"I've entered my first tournament, the PTC in Bulgaria," the 35-year-old said on Twitter.
Earlier this week Carter revealed that he is feeling "positive" ahead of his comeback.
