Australia's Campbell sisters Cate and Bronte have taken gold and silver respectively in the women's 50m freestyle final at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Cate Campbell scooped her second gold of the Games with a new Commonwealth-record performance, taking 0.1s off the previous record she herself held despite getting off to the worst start of any of the finalists.
Cate finished almost half-a-second clear of sister Bronte Campbell, who continued the family success by adding a silver to the gold she also won as part of the women's 4x100m freestyle relay team on Thursday.
However, Canada's Taylor Ruck also earned a silver medal having touched the wall at exactly the same time as Bronte, both coming home in 23.14s.
The medal is Ruck's third of the Games already after she also won gold in the 200m freestyle and silver as part of the 4x100m freestyle team.
England's Anna Hopkin could only manage a seventh-place finish, though, while fourth-place Shayna Jack was unable to make it a full house for host nation Australia.
