Team England swimmer Siobhan-Marie O'Connor has successfully defended her Commonwealth Games title in the women's 200m individual medley.
The 22-year-old led from the front at the Optus Aquatics Centre and never looked in danger of surrendering the gold medal which she first won in Glasgow four years ago.
The Bath-born swimmer - who also won silver in the same event at the 2016 Rio Olympics - touched the wall in 2:09.80, finishing comfortably clear of the chasing pack.
O'Connor is joined on the podium by two Canadians, with Sarah Darcel just about holding off the challenge of compatriot Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson as they picked up silver and bronze respectively.
England's Aimee Willmott - who won gold in the 400m medley earlier this week - missed out on another medal as she came home in fourth place, just 0.33s off a podium spot.
Scotland's Hannah Miley finished sixth with Abbie Wood of England one place further behind, while home favourites Blair Evans and Meg Bailey touched the wall in fifth and eighth respectively.
O'Connor has now won seven Commonwealth Games medals, with her two golds both coming in this event.
