Great Britain's Hannah Miley has won a bronze medal in the 200m individual medley final at the World Short Course Championships.
The Scot finished third in the event behind respective silver and gold winners Ye Shiwen of China and Hungary's Katinka Hosszu, taking her medal haul for the Istanbul competition to two.
"I really thought that it was going to be fourth or fifth," BBC Sport quotes Miley as saying. "It isn't my strongest event, so I'm really pleased with a bronze medal.
"I've been trying to work on my speed and it worked really well in the Europeans (where she won three medals) and slowly but surely I'm getting there.
"Hopefully some day I'll convert it to long course (50m) because that would be great."
Meanwhile, fellow Briton Georgia Davies booked her place in tomorrow's 50m backstroke final with a new Welsh record time of 26.84s during the heats.
Jemma Lowe has a 100m butterfly butterfly final to look forward to, Francesca Halsall a 50m freestyle semi-final on the same day.
