O'Connor wins silver in Doha

Siobhan-Marie O'Connor has won the silver medal in the women's 100m individual medley at the World Short Course Championships this afternoon.

The 19-year-old recorded a time of 57.83s to finish behind Hungarian Katinka Hosszu, who set a new world and championship record of 56.70s.

Australia's Emily Seebohm placed third with a time of 58.19s to pick up her second medal in Doha.

O'Connor's medal is her second of the championships, after winning silver in the 4×50m mixed medley.
