GB's Molly Renshaw wins silver in 200m breaststroke at European Championships

Molly Renshaw wins silver for Great Britain in tonight's 200m breaststroke final at the European Aquatics Championships in Berlin.

Great Britain's Molly Renshaw has secured a silver medal for the team, having come second in the 200m breaststroke final at the European Aquatics Championships in Berlin.

A strong final 50m from the swimmer resulted in a new British record time of 2:23.82, while Rikke Moeller Pedersen of Denmark clinched gold.

Spain's Jessica Vall completed the podium by grabbing a bronze medal following a swim of 2:24.08.

Earlier today, Britain's Adam Peaty set a new European Championships record of 26.91s in the 50m breaststroke heat in Berlin.
