Two-time Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington has congratulated Adam Peaty and Ross Murdoch for winning medals at the World Swimming Championships in Kazan, Russia.
Peaty came from behind to beat leader Cameron van der Burgh of South Africa to win the gold medal in the 100m breaststroke final today.
Murdoch grabbed bronze in a time of 59.09s and also set a new Scottish record in the process.
Following the British pair's triumph, Adlington tweeted: "Wow wow wow @adam_peaty WORLD CHAMPION!!! And 3rd in world @RossMurdoch_ !!! You guys are amazing. Congratulations! #Kazan2015."
GB's Siobhan-Marie O'Connor also reached the podium by winning bronze in the 200m individual medley final.
