Wales swimmer Jazz Carlin has signed off on the Commonwealth Games by winning silver in tonight's 400m freestyle.
The 23-year-old, who beat Lauren Boyle to the gold in the 800m freestyle on Monday, could not replicate her heroics as the New Zealander avenged that defeat tonight.
Meanwhile, Bronte Barrett of Australia edged out the challenge of Scottish favourite Hannah Miley to seal third place on the podium.
Carlin's silver takes Wales to 26 medals so far in this year's Games.
