Great Britain's Jade Jones has won her second Olympic title with victory in the women's -57kg in Rio de Janeiro.
After winning gold in London four years ago, Jones was regarded as the favourite to retain her crown and she capped a dominant day with a win over Eva Calvo Gomez.
After a tense opening, Jones scored with two headshots to reach the first of three breaks with a 6-0 lead, but her Spanish opponent hit back in the second to trail 7-6 heading into the final two minutes.
In an enthralling finale, both fighters scored another point apiece before Jones landed two more headshots to create distance between herself and Calvo Gomez.
With 15 seconds remaining, Jones held a 15-7 advantage and after adding one more point to her tally, she eased through to the end of the contest to win by a 16-7 scoreline.
Victory for Jones has earned Great Britain their 22nd gold medal of the Games.
