Novak Djokovic has all but secured his spot in the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals after a two-sets-to-one victory over Andy Murray at the O2 Arena in London.
Murray made the best possible start when he broke Djokovic in his opening service game to take an early 1-0 lead. The opening set remained on serve as the Scot moved ahead in the match.
The second set was equally tight in the early stages, but Djokovic broke at 2-3 to move 4-2 ahead and eventually levelled the match at one set all after taking it 6-3.
Djokovic continued to grow stronger as the match developed and he broke at 1-1 to move 2-1 ahead in the third set. However, Murray impressed with his staying power and broke back at 4-3 to move level in the third at 4-4.
However, Djokovic upped the tempo in the final two games and broke at 5-5 before serving to secure the third set 7-5.
Tomas Berdych and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will clash later this evening.
