Novak Djokovic has described lifting the Australian Open trophy for the fourth time in his career as "an incredible feeling".
The world number one beat Britain's Andy Murray in four sets in the final earlier today.
After the match, he told the crowd at the Rod Laver Arena: "What a joy, it's an incredible feeling wining this trophy once more. It's my favourite Grand Slam, my most successful Grand Slam.
"I want to thank my team for always supporting me and being out there for me. You deserve this trophy as much as I do. I love you and I love the crowd out here."
The Serb has now won the tournament three years in a row, having first lifted the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup in 2008.
