Second seed Petra Kvitova has booked her place in the second round of the Australian Open after beating Russian opponent Vera Dushevina.
The Wimbledon champion stormed to victory over Dushevina 6-2 6-0 despite losing the opening two games of the match.
After recovering from the early setback, Kvitova wrapped up the fist set in under 30 minutes.
The Czech carried her form into the second set, completely dominating Dushevina without conceding a game.
Kvitova will face Kristina Barois or Michaella Kajicek in round two.
