Scottish duo Colin Fleming and Jamie Murray crash out in the first round of the men's doubles tournament at the Australian Open.

Scottish duo Jamie Murray and Colin Fleming have fallen at the first hurdle in the men's doubles on day three of the Australian Open.

Murray and Fleming are a relatively new partnership but failed to blossom in the searing Melbourne heat as they fell to Michael Kohlmann and Jarkko Nieminen in straight sets.

Fleming had won a warm-up tournament in Auckland last week with Brazilian Bruno Soares but could not produce the same form with Murray in Melbourne.

Nieminen and Kohlmann were made to work hard but found a way to break when it mattered in both sets as they triumphed 7-5 7-5 in the first-round clash.
