Stanislas Wawrinka has moved into round three of the Australian Open with a three-set win over Marcos Baghdatis.
The Swiss number two edged the first set 7-6 on a tie-break, before breaking once in the next set to win 6-4 and open up a two-set margin.
However, Cypriot Baghdatis responded in the third set with 7-5 success, taking the match into a fourth set.
Baghdatis was unable to build upon that triumph though, eventually surrendering the set 6-1 along with the match.
Wawrinka will now take on Spain's Nicolas Almagro in the next round.
