David Goffin battles back to beat Lu Yen-Hsun

Belgian David Goffin hits back from a set down to beat Lu Yen-Hsun in the Cincinnati Open.

David Goffin has progressed through to the second round of the Cincinnati Open thanks to a three-sets win over Lu Yen-Hsun in a rain-affected match.

The Belgian star struggled to find his rhythm in the first set as he served a number of double-faults, gifting Lu a break of serve which allowed him to win 7-5.

However, Goffin hit back with a break of his own which enabled him to win the second 6-3 and take the match to a decider.

Lu appeared defeated when he fell two breaks of serve behind, but he rallied at 5-2 down as he broke Goffin and brought the match back to 5-4.

However, he could not prevent him winning at the second time of asking as Goffin moved into the next round.
