Alexandr Dolgopolov makes it through to the Cincinnati Open semi-finals thanks to a 6-4 6-2 win over Tomas Berdych.

Alexandr Dolgopolov has defeated Tomas Berdych in straight sets to make it through to the Cincinnati Open semi-finals.

The Ukrainian qualifier needed just one break of serve during the opening set to take it 6-4.

World number 66 Dolgopolov was even more dominant in the second as he finished off the sixth seed 6-4 6-2.

Dolgopolov will face world number one Novak Djokovic in the last four of the tournament.
