Mardy Fish dropped just three games on his way to reaching the third round of the Cincinnati Open at the expense of Carlos Berlocq this afternoon.
There was very little to choose between the two players during the opening set, with Fish requiring just one break of his Argentine opponent's serve to open up a one-set advantage.
The next set was more straightforward for the American, who broke Berlocq on two occasions to wrap up the match 6-1 6-3.
Fish will now face either Juan Monaco or Radek Stepanek in the next round.
