Andy Murray has progressed through to the third round of the Cincinnati Open with a straight-sets win over Juan Monaco.
Just three days after becoming Olympic champion for a second time, the British number one was back on court as he looked to extend his recent winning streak and he encountered few problems in overcoming the challenge of Monaco.
When the two met in Brazil last week, Murray dropped just four games and although Monaco won one more this time around, he was rarely competitive against the three-time Major winner.
Murray broke serve four times and dropped just 14 points behind his own delivery throughout the entire match as he came through by a 6-3 6-2 scoreline.
The 29-year-old will face South Africa's Kevin Anderson for a place in the quarter-finals.
