Great Britain captain Leon Smith has admitted that he was delighted with the performance of doubles pairing Andy Murray and Jamie Murray after they won the third rubber of the Davis Cup final against Belgium.
The brothers beat David Goffin and Steve Darcis by a 6-4 4-6 6-3 6-2 scoreline to move one match away from victory, but Smith has acknowledged that watching the contest, which included a number of breaks of serves during the latter stages, was a stressful experience.
After the match, Smith told BBC Sport: "There was a lot of stress and tension.
"Picking Goffin didn't surprise us and we knew it would be a dogfight but our boys played better throughout and produced an excellent performance yet again."
Andy Murray will play Goffin in the first of two reverse singles on Sunday, with either Kyle Edmund or James Ward facing Darcis or Ruben Bemelmans in a deciding match if Goffin can defeat Murray.
