Andy Murray booked his place in the quarter-finals of the Stockholm Open with a straight sets victory over top seed Jannik Skinner.
The three-time Grand Slam winner saw off Norwegian qualifier Viktor Durasovic to set up a tie with Italy's Skinner, the current world number nine.
Murray edged a tight first set in which neither man failed to break the other's serve, as the Brit took the tie-break by three points to boast a 7-6 first-set triumph.
Skinner's serve would be broken in the third game of the second set after he failed to do so from Murray's serve, and the duo would hold for the next five games.
Murray - who was aggressive and impressive throughout the battle - prevailed in the final game of the second set to take a 7-6 6-3 win and set up a quarter-final battle with Tommy Paul, who defeated fellow American Taylor Fritz in round two.
An all-British semi-final could then occur, with Dan Evans facing off against Frances Tiafoe for a spot in the last four.
