Juan Martin del Potro has revealed that he will make his return from wrist surgery at next week's Miami Masters.
The former US Open champion has been plagued by wrist problems for a number of years, and after missing the majority of 2014, the Argentine was forced to undergo another operation after playing in Sydney in January.
However, late on Friday, Del Potro announced that he would compete in his first Masters Series event since appearing in Paris in November 2013.
The 26-year-old posted on his Facebook page: "Two months ago, I was leaving the Mayo Clinic after my last surgery. Today I bring you the news: I will play in Miami.
"With the support of my team and my doctor Richard Berger, I will take another step in the recovery process which, as you know, takes time.
"It's great this is happening here in Miami, a special tournament for me because of the Latin fans and the Argentinians in particular."
Del Potro currently sits in 618th position in the ATP world rankings.
