Novak Djokovic parts company with coach Boris Becker

World number two Novak Djokovic parts company with coach Boris Becker after three years.

Novak Djokovic has parted company with coach Boris Becker after a three-year collaboration.

The world number two, who won six Grand Slam titles with the German, said that he fulfilled all of his goals with his outgoing coaching setup.

"The goals we set when we started working together have been completely fulfilled," he said in a statement.

"I want to thank him for the cooperation, teamwork, dedication and commitment."

Becker has taken to Twitter to thank Djokovic for working with him, suggesting that the split was amicable.

"Thank you. We had the time of our life," he wrote.

The Serbian spent 122 weeks as world number one under Becker's guidance but lost the top spot to Great Britain's Andy Murray in November.
