Laura Robson moves into the world top 30 after her fine run at Wimbledon.

British number one Laura Robson has broken into the top 30 of the women's world tennis rankings following her impressive run at Wimbledon.

The 19-year-old made it to the last 16 of Wimbledon, which included a victory over 10th seed Maria Kirilenko, before losing out to Kaia Kanepi.

Robson jumps from 38th to 27th in the WTA ranking list and is the first Briton to be placed that high since Jo Durie in 1987.

Serena Williams stays at number one despite her shock early exit at SW19, while champion Marion Bartoli climbs from 15th to seventh.

Beaten finalist Sabine Lisicki is now 18th, while Maria Sharapova moves above Victoria Azarenka into second place.
